It's a novel by Elif Shafak. Book jacket came into existence as a combination of hand drawn and recycled elements.
Prevedel Jure Potokar. Uredila Tjaša Koprivec. Izdala Založba Sanje.
A novel, written by Colum McCann. Cover design started with a photo. Everything else was built around it. A layer of UV lacquer goes all the way round the book jacket, with the exception of a floral pattern area (which, of course, cannot be seen above:).

It may seem a bit repetitive, but the illustration from my previous post fits so well to this week's IF topic ... It's a scene from the book by Evald Flisar, in which Alice - together with her uncle - takes her first ride in an intricate, rattling vehicle from Crazyland.

As usual ... I'm showing off my work. However, this witty pretty illustration is created by someone else - Ana Razpotnik Donati, a girl of great talent. I did the handwriting part. Še odstavek naprej od onega na hrbtni strani ovitka:"Premišljevala je in je prišla slednjič do tega konca in sklepa, da se bo omožila. Omožena ženska - tako je modrovala - ima vendarle več veljave pri ljudeh kakor samica." Fran Milčinski, kakopak. Pa založba Sanje.
